Pre-Vacation Playing

The day before we left for vacation we had a visit from Miss Rachel and sweet Ana. She and Aaron play so well together and this day was no exception. The days adventure took them down into the tall grasses behind our house looking for fish "to catch" in the trickle of a stream that runs back there. Mind you, they went out with the net that belongs with our fish tank. I know, not good odds for these two. For the record, they proved us wrong and indeed came back with a catch.....a dead fish, never-the-less, a fish. Should have photographed that one but I was too busy trying to explain why my Igloo cooler shouldn't be used to house their catch.

In the process the two got several scratches from the grass down there and required "medical attention" basically from one another. A couple bandaids and a detailed discussion made everything all better.

Getting everything on just right.

Here is the explanation that accompanied the application process.

Here, admiring their work. Finally, enough of the largest bandaids in the box were applied to their wounds (ones that were almost visible to the naked eye).

These two are so fun together. Here is the finished product (remember Aaron had 3 such bandaids on his lower leg.....I accidentally cut it out). Bandaids make everything better.

He looks so old! What a sweet post- love seeing how they develop!! We just moved to our transition home in between flats for a couple weeks and J's parents are here with us. Very fun, but busy! Glad to have the help with cleaning and kids! We are in a very nice house in a remote town, so it's nice to have the extra space and a YARD with a tramp and a slide! Love you, sweet friend!
