A Day In The Life: Christmas Time

This is how Christmas began for Aaron. Christmas Eve and he is asleep once again on the floor. It seems he thinks osmosis will help him take advantage of every moment to learn something. Someday I may have to tell him that it doesn't work. Too cute.

We ended up having to start with Amos because his big body was in the way as he wanted to sniff every package to make sure it was safe for his pack. This is him investigating his present.

Now he waits patiently for the alpha dog to hand over the goods. Needless to say the Nylabone kept him busy the rest of the morning.

We start with the youngest and work our way up. As you can see Aaron was thrilled with yet more dinosaurs by Imaginext. Notice Isaac looks on knowing that he will likely enjoy his brothers goods.

Isaac too was thrilled with his Star Wars loot. Anything to be like his big brother!

This was the thing Isaac for sure wanted. He saw it on a commercial and thought it was the best thing ever, most likely because it stands over half his height. He can get sucked into the "bigger is better" selling tool.

The girls are constantly wanting to borrow my camera to take photos of their handiwork so this year Elizabeth was thrilled to get her own little camera that will allow her to scrapbook on the computer.

Another of Elizabeth's passions is fixing hair so she was very excited to have her own full-time model.

The thing Zach wanted most was a board game called Hero Scape. You can see that only a screech sufficed to express his joy.

More imaginative play with GI Joe figures and a helicopter.

Hannah is getting at the age where she has less "toys" and more practical things but she was very thankful for the new robe, pj's and thong slippers. She also got a new computer game that challenged her mother called Diner Dash 2. It is really fun!
