Aaron turns 5!

We celebrated another birthday this week. Aaron Christopher is now 5. It is hard to believe. Next year this little man will head off to school with his older siblings and my house will be very quiet. No doubt God has big plans for that time. Until then we are enjoying this little guy who is dearly loved by family (and so many of Hannnah's friends :) )


Here is the sleepy guy who got plucked out of bed in order to eat coffee (birthday) cake and open presents before everyone headed out the door for school and work. Caution, enlarge this one at your own risk..........


Time to blow ---and spread germs :)


All Aaron seemed to come up with gift ideas were Star Wars Action figures because, after all, that is what the other "big" boys want to play with.


There was great enthusiasm for the little Star Wars dudes from the Sterner Grandparents.


In spite of the fake looking smile Aaron was genuinely excited about the Sponge Bob lego set from the Bennett Grandparents. This would be the other main interest of all males in our home. Maybe you have to be a guy to fully appreciate the Sponge Bob craze.


Play dough toys run a close third for Aaron in terms of things he likes to do with his time. He played for 2 solid hours with this new set. I must admit that he has gotten to play with play dough much more than any of the other kids. The theory is that with one child playing we will have one fifth the mess. That is a yet to be proven. What I know to be true is that he plays for such a long time and doesn't have to share with anyone but Mom.
