Our Entrepenures

It seems everyone is out to make a buck or two around here. Earlier this summer the kids tried their hand at a couple different things. First the girls had a slushy stand. There was not a whole lot of business but that didn't bother them. It is great that they have a heart to help earn money for breast cancer. They wanted to do what they can to help Grandma Joy and all the others who fight breast cancer.

They majority of customers were neighbor kids (who had no money) and their siblings who kept coming in to ask for change from me. No family discounts apparently.


They even had Aaron trained to do promotions via the sign and chants. Who could turn down a face like this.


Not too many days had passed when I came out to the garage and found Zach like this. He had been busy creating a business all his own (unlike his sisters' business, he had no volunteers to help). Where do they come up with their ideas? A job only a boy would come up with!


Zach used some extra dry erase board laying around and put his artistic talents to work. Much to his dismay he sat by the mailbox for some time with no nibbles whatsoever. If we lived in a more metropolitan area it may have taken off.
